About QuickTimer

QuickTimer is a small, focused web tool: an online countdown timer and stopwatch that opens instantly in your browser, with no account, no installation, and no clutter between you and the number on the screen.

Why we built it

Most "online timer" results are either weighed down with unrelated features or feel dated on a phone or a projector screen. We wanted something that loads fast, reads clearly from across a room, and covers the two things people actually ask a timer to do: count down to zero with an alarm, or count up with lap splits.

How it works

Everything runs client-side in JavaScript directly in your browser. No timer data is sent to a server, and nothing is required to sign up or log in. The alarm tone is generated in-browser using the Web Audio API rather than a downloaded sound file, which keeps the page lightweight.

Who runs this

QuickTimer is an independently run tool, part of a small family of free browser-based utilities. You can reach us any time via the contact page.
