A meditation timer is meant to stay out of the way. This one has a plain display, gentle sounds and no clutter, so you can sit without watching the clock.
What it includes
- A soft bell at the start (optional) so you know the timer has begun.
- Interval bells every 1 to 60 minutes of your choice, if you like markers during a long sitting.
- A gentle end sound instead of a harsh alarm. You can pick from six sounds.
- Ambient sound if wanted: soft rain, brown noise or calm tones, generated in your browser. Nothing is downloaded.
- Digits-only mode. Choose Digits to hide the ring and leave only the time, or tap Full screen for a calm, uncluttered page.
Practical notes
- Set the volume before you sit. Press Test sound, then adjust the volume slider so the bell is clear but not startling.
- Keep the screen on. A phone that locks may stop the page. The timer asks for a screen wake lock where available. You can turn the screen brightness down.
- Silence notifications on your device before you start.
- Start small. If you are new to sitting, five minutes is a reasonable start. This page makes no health claims about meditation; choose a length that suits you.

A shorter session fits the 5 minute timer; for a mid-length sit try the 10 minute timer or the 20 minute timer. For breathing patterns with set in and out counts, an interval timer with a few seconds per stage works: try the interval timer.

The links start the timer immediately. Some browsers need one tap on the page before the first sound can play, and this page will ask for it if so.
